Well, we are finally settled in our new apartment in Maryland! Dallin and I have moved seven times in the two years we have been married...I am getting a lot better at packing and unpacking. This move was even harder because Dallin and I decided to fly instead of drive (our roadtrip to VA Beach last year was enough for me) so I had to pack everything we needed in just a few suitcases. Luckily my parents flew back with us so they could claim some of our bags!
It was pretty interesting watching Dallin, Tadd, and Ryan move the LoveSac down to Ryan's house. Thanks for babysitting it for us guys!
Here's Hami on his very first plane ride. Dallin hit a few switches with his head when we entered the cockpit. I was so glad when we made it safely off the ground!
Dallin and Hami ready for the first day of work. Aren't they cute? I am determined to get a picture of Hami with the President while wearing his Republican onesie!
Grandma and Grandpa were such a big help with the move back here. Thank you so much for everything. We loved having you guys back here!
Here we are in front of the Lincoln Memorial.
We went to the Iwo Jima Memorial on Sunday night. It was incredible to see it all lit up. Dallin hadn't ever been there before and was amazed by the size of it. This picture shows just how massive it really is.
This is Hami's first introduction to Mutton Busting...I think he needs to grow a little it more!
We went to Mount Vernon and saw a few references to Alexander Hamilton. They have the same look...
Grandpa picked this outfit out for Hami. We were walking through the mall to a restaurant and Grandpa made it very clear to us girls that we couldn't go shopping, but he was the one to stop and look in the window of BabyGap. They had this outfit on one of the mannequins in the window and Hami just had to have it! Good job Grandpa! Hami wore this to the first day of church and was a hit! Our building is right next to the DC Temple so we got to walk around the grounds after church. It is so pretty! If you haven't ever driven on the freeway past the DC Temple you have to do it! It is so beautiful and breathtaking. The Temple looks like it is just floating there above the road.
Now that everyone is gone and Dallin is at work all day, Hami and I have to find ways to entertain ourselves. I don't know how much fun he was having, but I sure enjoyed it!
Hami is such a Daddy's Boy...what else can I say?
I have never seen so much rain in my life! Tropical Storm Hannah came through here and it rained all day long. Although we didn't go outside, Hami was dressed for the occasion!
This is our lovely apartment here in Maryland. We actually really like it here and it is so convenient. There is a market near by where I do all of our shopping (it is so small that the stroller takes up the entire aisle) and it only takes about two minutes from our door to the platform of the metro which is great for Dallin in the morning. Someday we might live in a place that will be bigger than just four pictures...maybe...
Well, sorry that this post was so long. We just needed to get caught up. Look at that...I'm blogging!

Just want to let you know that I have visited your site. I am glad to hear that you are all doing well in DC.
I think you should get a picture of Hamilton and the President. However, I don't think Obama would like the Republican outfit, so you might want something different when you meet him...
Yea...glad to see that you've joined the blogging world. :) Cute pics. You are going to LOVE it back there. We LOVED our time there. Enjoy it cause it goes fast. Hamilton is growing so fast. I think he looks a lot like Dallin.
I'm so glad you started a blog so we can see pictures of Hami! He is so much bigger than the last pictures we saw of him! I loved the outfit your Dad picked out at the Gap, what a stylish little guy!
