Milk...On the Rocks

Last Saturday we got Hami all dressed up in his football hat and shirt and headed to Dave and Busters to watch the BYU football game. Anytime we want Hami to sleep we just head to Dave and Busters and he's out like a light! Maybe Hami will be more like his mom after all when it comes to BYU sports (they seem to put me to sleep as well)! I sang the Utah fight song to him on the metro ride, he liked it until Dallin made me stop!

I must admit, I do feel a little funny sitting around the bar with a stroller and 3 month old. The waiters all look at us funny because both of us order water..."why do they need two designated drivers?" they think to themselves. Does anyone else see the irony of going to a bar to watch a BYU game? Dallin seems to think it is worth it (and it earns me brownie points) so we go.
We finally gave in and bought a Baby Bjorn. We have been looking at all sorts of carriers online for the past few weeks and after being oubid on ebay at least 10 times, we just ordered one. We don't get much mail here so having a huge box waiting for us at the door was well worth the money!
Aren't they so cute? I love my two boys! Something tells me that this is the only time Dallin will be carrying Hami. Does anyone remember last year when he conveniently threw out his back lifting an EMPTY box right before we left to drive home from VA? Yeah, I'll be doing the carrying!

So what are you going to tell the hamster when he wants to go to a bar when he is older? haha...

Typical BYU student... The honor code is nothing but a bunch of words. Maybe some should try to live it.

Here is what it says:

Abstain From Alcoholic Beverages

* Any consumption of alcohol, in any form, is a breach of the Honor Code. The following are examples of serious noncompliant behavior related to alcohol use:
o Being present where alcohol is being consumed by others
o Personal consumption of alcohol socially or as a consequence of alcoholism
o Furnishing alcohol to others
o Having alcohol in one's apartment
* Honor Code Office courses of action are influenced by the level of use or involvement, the extent to which the behavior is known by others, and the willingness of the students to change.

I love hammie's backwards hat! What a silly little man. What kind of a name for a bar is "Dave and Busters?"

Sweet Bjorn, I've always wanted one of those, you'll have to let me know how you like it!
If you're up for a long drive and you don't want to go to Dave and Buster's this weekend, we're having a party at our institute building down on campus to watch the game on a big projector with a few friends. But I'm sure you're right, this game should be a bore, here comes shut out #3!
Hami looks too cute in his football outfit, what a guy!
