Happy 2nd Anniversary! Look how far we have come since we started dating! We've added a new little one to the mix, a few more pounds, and countless memories. I love you so much Dallin! This year has had so many fun memories and I can't wait to see what this next year will bring!
Here are the presents we got for each other. Don't you love the wrapping job? I wrapped Dallin's with pictures of McCain and Obama (there must be something in the water back here...politics)! You have to get creative with wrapping when you are on a budget and don't have a car to get to the store!
Dallin got me a signed letter from President Bush congratulating us on our anniversary. I know you probably think that we are nerds but it is actually really cool. It is even on White House stationary!
I got Dallin a BYU hat. I felt really bad for him...he used to have two BYU hats, but on our trip to St. George for my birthday he lost his black one. Then when we were moving out here he left his blue one at my parents' house. It's dangerous leaving BYU paraphinilia at the Brooke's house. I guess somehow Dallin's hat got run over a couple times with the suburban...I don't know how that happened! Actually it just fell out of the car when we were leaving to the airport...well that's the story anyway.
Hami is such a Daddy's boy!
Here is our romantic anniversary dinner. This pretty much sums up our anniversary today. We woke up pretty early this morning because Dallin took the LSAT today. Hooray! I am so glad that's over! Unfortunately, he didn't get home from that until around 2:30. I then stole the car we had rented for him to go to the grocery store (it's a very rare occasion that we have a car so I go and stock up on heavy things that I don't want to carry home from the market). I got home from that, watched conference and then we realized that we wouldn't have enough time to go out to eat so we picked a random restaurant that would deliver and this is what we ended up with. Dallin promised that we will get to go out and eat this week to make up for it. So here I sit, 9:30 at night, alone (Hami goes to bed early now), watching The Office and blogging, while Dallin is at the Priesthood session. Not quite what I had envisioned for our anniversary...but it's been a good day!
I love Dallin for so many reasons. I know that I don't show it all of the time, but I really love being with Dallin. Let me list just some of the reasons:
*He is so hilarious!
*He is loyal and I can trust him with anything.
*I love watching him when he watches shows like Seinfeld or the Colbert Report. He just starts laughing and can't stop. Then he repeats all of the jokes over and over again. It is so cute.
*He is so sexy! (Sorry to everyone that had to read that, but he really is)!
*Hami adores his daddy. If I am holding Hami while Dallin is home, Hami will just watch him where ever he goes. Hami is a complete daddy's boy.
*Patience...I admit it, living with me he needs a lot of patience but in two years of marriage he hasn't ever yelled at me or even fought with me.
*Dallin calms me down. I am always stressed and wound so tight, but no matter what is going on in his life, he will sit down with me until I calm down.

That's right! Today is your anniversary! We had Abby's 8th b-day celebration today too...hope you get to go somewhere fun to eat for a real date night! :)
Happy Anniversary guys! Sounds like you had a very romantic day. Those were sweet gifts, I think the letter from the President is really cool, and you can't go wrong with byu anything for Dallin. That's hilarious about his old hat, I'll have to remember not to leave anything like that at your parents house :)
Thanks for sending the clothes, unfortunately I'll probably need them much sooner this time around than I did last time, bummer. I'm secretly hoping they'll be lost in the mail and I'll have an excuse to get all new ones!

You guys have such a cute family! Happy Anniversary (Belated...) I'm a horriable sister, sorry! Hammy is getting so big, and looks so much like Dallin, but his good looks are definatley from his mom...! I feel like I haven't talked to you guys in a long time!
